What are semi-permanent eyelash extensions?
Unlike strip or flare (party) lashes they are not applied to the natural eyelids, Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are individual synthetic hairs applied by isolating each natural eyelash hair and adhered to the natural lash with a special bonding agent. Eyelash extensions are great for providing fuller, curvier and longer length to your natural eyelashes. Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are individual, silk or mink lashes that look and feel just like your own natural lash hairs.
I wear contact lenses will this be a problem?
Definitely not. We recommend removing your contacts before the procedure but contact lenses can be put straight back into your eyes after your treatment.
Do you do different looks?
Absolutely! We always carry out a full consultation taking into consideration face and eye shape, make up looks as well as the quality of your own natural lashes. Eyelash extensions come in varying lengths, thicknesses and curls so each look is bespoke to each client.
Do eyelash extensions damage my own natural lashes?
During your consultation we will assess your natural lashes as well as the length and health of your own lashes this will determine the weight, curl and length we will use
Is the adhesive used safe?
The adhesive we use is produced in ISO regulated manufacturing environments and all products and ingredients used are EU approved and do not contain latex or formaldehyde.
How do I take care of my new lashes?
It is not difficult to take care of your new lashes. You will be given “after care” instructions before you leave your first appointment.
How long will they last?
Eyelash extensions are semi permanent and the permanence is dependent on the client following strict after-care advice at home. If looked after carefully eyelash extensions can give you 3 weeks of maintenance free eyelash extensions. However, “in-fills” are required every 2-3 weeks. The human eyelash grows between 7mm and 9mm in length, growing for 30 days and resting for 60 days, after this they start to naturally fall out, and a new growth cycle begin. So, if you want great looking eyelashes all the time in-fills are necessary because, like your fingernails and the hair on your head, your individual eyelashes grow out on a continuous cycle of replenishment.
